At Bright Pediatric Learning, I take a holistic approach to understanding your child’s unique needs. Rather than relying solely on traditional speech and language assessments, I draw from extensive additional training that allows me to look beyond standard practices.
I consider the whole child—integrating areas such as literacy, executive functioning, social-emotional development, and sensory needs. My approach is rooted in a cognitive processing framework, which helps identify the underlying factors that impact communication and learning.
Equally important, I prioritize building meaningful connections with both you and your child. I strive to partner with families every step of the way, creating a supportive and personalized experience.
This comprehensive, relationship-centered approach is what sets Bright Pediatric Learning apart and allows me to offer a truly integrated service you won’t typically find elsewhere.

I am currently completing advanced, specialized training in myofunctional disorders, which is within the scope of practice for a speech-language pathologist. At this time, I do not yet offer dedicated treatment for this area. If I suspect your child may be experiencing challenges related to this disorder, I will be transparent and refer you to a professional that specializes in them. I value your time and strive to provide honest, thoughtful guidance in every situation. Once I have completed my training and begin offering services related to myofunctional disorders, I will update my website and inform the families I serve.

Yes. I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist with 7 years of experience working in a Dual Language Immersion program. I provide both assessment and therapy in English and Spanish.
My clinical approach is informed by extensive experience supporting linguistically and culturally diverse learners, ensuring services are appropriate and responsive to each child’s language background.
-
That’s completely okay. You can start with a complimentary 10-minute phone consultation to discuss your child’s needs and explore possible next steps for your family. If you’re looking for more in-depth guidance, a 60-minute Family Guidance Learning Session offers personalized support and a deeper understanding of how to help your child. This option is ideal for families who aren’t ready to begin ongoing therapy, but would still like professional input from a speech-language pathologist.

This is a part-time private practice, with availability on some weekday afternoons and Saturdays. My schedule is limited, though I plan to expand availability during the summer months (June and July). Early booking is recommended to secure a spot. Spaces are limited!
-
If I’m fully booked, I can add you to my waitlist and will reach out as soon as an opening becomes available. In the meantime, I can also provide referrals to local clinics so your child can begin receiving support as soon as possible—early intervention is key.
-
Yes. To ensure transparency, I ask that you share your child’s school as part of the service agreement. If there’s ever a potential conflict of interest, I’ll let you know before we move forward.
-
All services provided are independent of any public or private school system. This is a private practice, therefore, it does not follow a school model. Participation in private services does not establish or guarantee eligibility for school-based services.
-
Yes! I have extensive experience working with 1 - 3 years old. This stage of development is incredibly important, as young children are highly responsive to their environment and learning opportunities. I offer supportive, home-based strategies and guidance to help you nurture your child’s communication and development during these early years.
-
At this time, sessions are not available at local daycare centers during the summer. If this changes, I will be sure to notify families who have expressed interest. Currently, sessions are offered either in my clinic or virtually, when appropriate.
-
This session is a personalized, one-on-one consultation designed to provide thoughtful, expert guidance tailored to your child and family.
During our time together, I will listen carefully to your concerns, learn about your goals, and gain a deeper understanding of your child’s communication profile. Based on this, I will provide individualized, evidence-based strategies and practical recommendations you can confidently implement at home and/or in school.
Families often choose this service when they are seeking professional insight, clarity, and a clear plan of action—whether they have specific concerns or simply want to better support their child’s development.
Following the session, you will leave with actionable next steps and a stronger understanding of how to support your child’s communication, independence, and overall growth.
-
All sessions begin and end promptly at the scheduled time. During the school year, sessions may be scheduled on an ongoing weekly basis, depending on availability and caseload.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance will not be charged. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will incur a $150 cancellation fee.
Families are welcome to discontinue therapy services at any time, for any reason.
-
Yes. A screener or comprehensive assessment is required before starting services. This helps me understand your child’s current skills and needs so I can provide targeted, effective support from the very first therapy session.
-
Yes. I have experience working with many Autistic children, each with their own unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of experiencing the world.
My approach is neuro-affirming, meaning I support children as they are while helping them build skills that enhance their communication, independence, and confidence—without trying to “normalize” them. Therapy goals are individualized to respect each child’s identity and celebrate their differences.
Autism is a broad spectrum, and each child presents with a unique profile of strengths and needs. Areas of support may include communication, social connection, executive functioning, sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, and more.
If at any point, I feel your child’s needs would be better supported through additional or specialized services (such as feeding therapy, occupational therapy, or physical therapy), I will communicate this openly and provide appropriate recommendations. My goal is to ensure your child receives the most effective and supportive care possible.
-
I don't diagnose dyslexia. However, research consistently shows that children who have developmental language disorders are at risk for having reading difficulties. Part of my assessment is looking at any potential risk factors your child has in their reading abilities. When I do my assessments, I look at multiple factors that may be impacting their overall cognitive processing skills. I will be able to highlight to you the area that is impacting them the most.

At Bright Pediatric Learning, support for attention and executive functioning is approached through a communication-based, child-centered lens. Many children experience challenges with focus, organization, self-regulation, and follow-through—whether or not they have a formal diagnosis such as ADHD.
Services are designed to support the underlying skills that impact daily functioning, including:
Listening and following directions
Task initiation and completion
Organization and planning
Emotional regulation and flexibility
Self-advocacy and problem-solving
Social communication and peer interactions
Using a neuro-affirming approach, therapy focuses on building practical, individualized strategies that align with your child’s strengths, interests, and environment. The goal is not to change who your child is, but to provide tools that help them navigate daily expectations with greater confidence and independence.
Support may include direct work with your child, as well as caregiver guidance to ensure strategies can be carried over into everyday routines at home and in school.
A formal diagnosis is not required to begin services. If additional evaluation or collaboration with other professionals (such as psychologists, counselors, pediatricians, behavior therapists, or occupational therapists) would be beneficial, recommendations will be provided with transparency and care.
-
Every child has unique strengths and needs, so the number of therapy sessions required can vary.
At Bright Pediatric Learning, I regularly monitor progress and collaborate with families to adjust the plan as needed based on your child’s growth and your observations at home and/or school. This ensures your child is receiving the appropriate level of support at each stage of development.
A progress update is typically provided after 4 completed sessions, and ongoing updates are verbally shared as needed to ensure transparency and alignment with goals.
It’s also important to remember that communication and developmental skills build over time. Progress is a gradual process, and consistency and carryover of strategies outside of sessions play an important role in your child’s growth. I will provide you with tips along the way, so you can support your child at home.

No, a doctor’s referral is not required to begin services at Bright Pediatric Learning.
However, if you plan to seek reimbursement through your insurance using a superbill, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your out-of-network benefits for speech-language therapy and/or evaluations. Some insurance plans may require a referral, pre-authorization, or additional documentation for reimbursement.
If a referral or pre-authorization is needed, you can request this from your child’s pediatrician.
-
No. Unlike traditional speech and language assessments that are often completed in a single one-hour session, my evaluations take place over multiple appointments. This approach allows me to gain a more comprehensive understanding of your child’s overall strengths and areas of need. My goal is to provide a thorough and thoughtful assessment that accurately captures your child’s skills.
-
Yes! In-home sessions are available if you live in Corona. There is an additional transportation fee that gets added to each session.
The early intervention and preschool-age family-guidance sessions are available in the comfort of your home. There is no additional fee for locations within 5 miles of the office for this guidance session.
-
Yes. I offer virtual sessions when they are an appropriate option for your child. A hybrid approach—combining clinic, home, and virtual sessions—can also be arranged for families who need flexibility with their schedule.
For virtual sessions, parents are responsible for providing access to a computer or laptop. Virtual sessions can be engaging and effective, especially when children are set up in a quiet, distraction-free space where they can focus and participate.
I keep sessions interactive and fun by incorporating movement and literacy-based activities, helping your child stay motivated while building important skills.

Bright Pediatric Learning is an out-of-network provider and does not bill insurance companies directly.
A detailed invoice (superbill) can be provided for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual insurance plan.
Typically, only speech and language evaluations and treatment sessions may be eligible for reimbursement. Family guidance learning sessions, screeners, and summer reading intervention programs are not reimbursable.
If you would like to receive superbills or plan to submit for reimbursement, please let me know during your free 10-minute consultation or at your initial appointment, so I can ensure your documentation is set up appropriately.
My goal is to make the billing documentation process as clear and seamless as possible for families choosing to pursue reimbursement.

I accept cash, credit card, Venmo and Zelle payments. Please note that a 3% processing fee will be added to all credit card transactions. There is no fee for cash, Venmo or Zelle payments.
